China into Passenger Aviataion: First Large Passenger Plane
China releseases its first large passeger plane. Though it is not into air the state owned COMAC is behind its fabrication and manfacturing. They have introduced it to market in Shanghai's International Airport. This is going to give a tough competition for Airbus and Boeing. COMAC also stated officially that, they have orders prebooked most of them are in state airline and in addition to these they also have few orders from GE Aviation. The plane is narrow body twin engine and named as C919(COMAC919). COMAC has used foreign made jet engines and aviation techniques and where as design and assembly is populated in Shangai. The seating capacity of this flight ranges from 156-174.
